A symphony of rose petal, sweet rhubarb, spiced sumac, bramble, and autumnal characters lift from the glass. This is a classic McCutcheon Pinot with elegant red fruits and a finely detailed structure. There is an ever changing range of secondary fruit characters that evolve beautifully in the glass, given time. It is a complex wine that is alluring, light on its feet and leads a merry dance right to the end.
Hints of fresh herb, clove, tarragon, and spice on the nose. The palate is driven by white nectarine, macadamia, and a zesty sherbet edge. A soft round and layered palate with a lovely textural finish keeps the wine lingering.
A lovely dark colour, with luscious dark fruits showcasing bramble spice, rose petal and fruit compote. The spice of cinnamon and star anise combine with dark plum and give this a sultry look. The fine velvety tannins cloak the wine and round out the finish.

A wonderful example of McCutcheon at its best. An opulent and layered mid palate dominated by stone fruits; white peach & yellow nectarine, together with hints of rock melon and spice that builds in power and depth from front to back. The wine has great concentration and will cellar well for many years to come.
Aromas of flint and orange blossom lead to a silky fine palate, with elements of marmalade and grapefruit. There is a lovely purity and balance to this wine which reflects its class and years of toil in the vineyard. A linear line of acid underlying the fruit adds precision and a lovely persistence to the wine.
This wine has an elegant lift of lemon, with hints of melon, kiwi fruit and spice. A sultry palate that is round, mouth filling and elegant. Characteristics of melon and lime zest criss-cross the palate, with pithy citrus notes and an alluring fine phenolic mineral edge on the finish.
Flinty upfront, this well-rounded Wallis chardonnay has ripe citrus, lemon curd, hints of almond, fresh mandarin and green mango traversing the palate.
Finger lime, ginger and a whiff of nettle leaf deliver a fresh and vibrant nose pointing the way to a fine and elegant fruit profile. Despite this fine edge, the textural elements race across the palate with hints of almond meal and lemon curd adding further layers of complexity and character.
Fruit compote and hints of toasted fennel and rosemary lead the way to what is a layered, complex and brooding style of Pinot Noir. Satsuma plum, cherry, cranberry sauce and fine chewy tannins fill the palate and linger for some time.
Slightly deeper colour than the Estate Chardonnay; an unashamedly complex chardonnay, with citrus, stone fruit, fig and cashew notes all tightly woven together; it is almost on the aftertaste that the benison of natural acidity makes its presence felt.
Spiced blood plum, violet and blackcurrant weave their way through the multiple layers of chalky and succulent tannins that control the palate. A delightful expression of a different Coolart Road with F block taking the driver seat.

A floral lift of white blossom and jasmine on the nose sync in beautifully with the hints of ginger and tangerine rind on the palate. Citrus notes continue to drive this wine with pings of acidity and a crunch on the finish that opens and softens while the wine breathes in the glass
An exotic nose of curry leaf and spice with hints of honeydew and flint form the backbone of this multiple site Chardonnay. While the acid is tight, it creates a strong drive through the palate that is met by bursts of citrus peel with a fine finish.
A well rounded wine that shows great concentration and balance. The drive compliments the fruit weight and the notes of nectarine and citrus only provide satisfaction and enjoyment.
This is a world class Australian Pinot Noir, very Burgundian in style with heady forrest floor and stem notes working alongside dark cherry and fuller plum fruit on the nose. The palate unravels layers of complexity, on entry brambly dark cherry fruit meets earthen notes before french oak provides a sheath of spice that bridges the varietal cherry fruit and more savoury nuances that come from time on skins and the effects of a low yielding vintage. Exceptional length to finish, a classic release.
Taking into account social and political history, The Australian Ark highlights the imagination, strength, and foresight of Australia’s fine wine pioneers as they built an industry that became a centre of influence and power over more than two centuries.
