This first Trahere has a wonderful colour and an alluring floral perfume with rich red fruits – strawberry and cherry, together with gamey, earthy and spice undertones. On the palate, there is great concentration, fine detail, and texture. It’s complex and intense and has silky fine tannins and a graphite like edge that adds to the detail and precision. There is a seamless and lingering aspect to this wine that adds great allure and sets it apart.

Spice and floral notes dominate the elegant nose while a soft flint edge invites you to dive deep into a complex structure with hints of oyster shell and cumquat. A pretty and alluring wine with typical linear acidity full of delicate offerings.

A miscellany of grilled hazelnut and golden almonds, key lime pie, pastry and lemon curd is the alluring first impression of this wine.

This is the first time that the Mills vineyard Chardonnay has been elevated to a single vineyard release. The wine has an elegant lift of citrus/lemon, with hints of melon, kiwi fruit and spice. A sultry palate that is round, mouth filling and elegant. Characters of melon and lime zest criss cross the palate, together with pithy citrus notes and an alluring fine phenolic, mineral edge on the finish.

Aromas of orange rind and spice intertwined with zesty lemon curd provide a wonderful entre to this wine. The palate is focused and silky with wet river stone flint adding to the saline mineral drive on the finish.

Hints of fresh herb, clove, tarragon, and spice on the nose. The palate is driven by white nectarine, macadamia, and a zesty sherbet edge. A soft round and layered palate with a lovely textural finish keeps the wine lingering.

Spiced blood plum, violet and blackcurrant weave their way through the multiple layers of chalky and succulent tannins that control the palate. A delightful expression of a different Coolart Road with F block taking the driver’s seat.

During vintage and production, this Pinot Noir showed great potential to be amongst the very best produced from the Wallis vineyard. Dark red cherry, plum, violet and bursts of blackcurrant are lifted by the silky firm tannins that surround. A classic iron fist in velvet glove type wine, a contradiction of both great intensity and finesse.

A burst of spice, white pepper and potpourri are a welcome entrée to this wine. A mix of strawberry, red plum, dark cherry and star anise glide across the palate. There is a salty meat/charcuterie edge that adds to the lovely savoury/fruit balance of this wine. Fine mineral tannins provide a gentle grip and focus on the finish.

A mix of white blossom, mealy aromas and almond essence steal the nose. This is complimented on the palate by a fresh kiwi zing, chalky phenolics and mineral drive. 

Finger lime, ginger and a whiff of nettle leaf deliver a fresh and vibrant nose pointing the way to a fine and elegant fruit profile. Despite this fine edge, the textural elements race across the palate with hints of almond meal and lemon curd adding further layers of complexity and character

A floral lift of white blossom and jasmine on the nose sync in beautifully with the hints of ginger and tangerine rind on the palate. Citrus notes continue to drive this wine with pings of acidity and a crunch on the finish that opens and softens while the wine breathes in the glass

Red cherry, plum and rose petal nuances are the signature beginnings of this delightful Main Ridge Pinot Noir.

The deep red purple colour of this wine does not disappoint. A brooding mix of savoury characters; charcuterie and hints of leather together with striking fruit.

Dark cherry and clove aligned with hints of pomegranate surround and compliment the fine tannins that are captured in a range of parcels of fruit from up and down the hill.

A diversity of flavours from guava and lemon myrtle on the nose to textural notes of oats and crumble, lavender, a twist of orange and grapefruit pith to follow. A savoury mouthfeel with a softness and vibrancy to salivate the palate. 

Ginger, persimmon, and spiced pear skin combine for a bright and refreshing lift to this first Fiano Cellar Door release. The acidity holds throughout the palate but the lees contact, bâtonnage and partial malolactic fermentation add texture and complexity.

A lifted bouquet of elderflower, cherry, and floral nuances capture the beauty of the Pinot Noir grape with equally adopted flavours continuing throughout the palate. While the mouthfeel exerts a creaminess, the overall savoury nature of this wine leads our winemakers to believe this is our best Rosé to date.

Dark fruits, black cherry, spice, and hints of green tea lift from this perfumed Pinot Noir. A rustic flair of red cherry pip, sour cherry, char,and coriander seeds provide a sensory journey offering lovely complexity and length.

Made with fruit from our friends Ruth and George Mihaly’s Paradigm Hill vineyard, this wine is beautiful example of a cool climate Shiraz with plum skin, cranberry sauce and savoury cigar box notes on the nose. The Viognier provides a floral lift of violets and rosehip. On the palate, welcome characters of luscious cassis invite you in, with white pepper and spice to finish. The tannins are chewy and give structure and drive to this elegant wine.

Sourced from the Merindoc vineyard in the cooler southern foothills of the Heathcote region, this wine showcases classic Shiraz characters for which this region is known and has been combined with Viognier to create a generous and lasting wine. Upfront smoked meats and charcuterie on the nose with pops of red licorice and juniper. The palate is rich with ripe forest berries and a biltong backbone. The tannins are not shy and provide texture and grip on the finish. This wine is best enjoyed by the fire, today or in 10 years’ time.

A darker, more powerful and brooding style of Pinot Noir. This wine has a lovely core of dark fruits; fragrant red cherry, mulberry aromas with a hint of liquorice and vanilla. It is complex and has a rich mid palate with earthy/undergrowth characters brooding below. It has a firm structure, fine grippy tannins with lovely crisp acidity.

The lifted flint and bright citrus on the nose compliment the nutty and brioche characters that are displayed on the palate. A generous mouthfeel from an extended time in bottle on lees is well aligned with the crisp natural acidity driving the wine.

This wine started with a question in the winery; what would the best blend of the wines we selected for the McCutcheon, Judd and Wallis single vineyard releases look like? A blend that was greater than the parts, a best of the best, if you will, of our Main Ridge Chardonnay.

An exotic nose of curry leaf and spice with hints of honeydew and flint form the backbone of this multiple site Chardonnay.  While the acid is tight, it creates a strong drive through the palate that is met by bursts of citrus peel with a fine finish.
